How to make product barcodes

Set your product codes
Use your shop's existing codes (SKUs) or create new unique ones, e.g. one per color/size.

For use in your own shop choose Code 128 · if you already have a 13-digit number, choose EAN-13.

Can the barcodes really be scanned?+
Yes. They follow the Code 128 and EAN-13 standards and work with regular barcode scanners and phone cameras. Print them sharply and don't shrink them too small.
Can I make up my own product codes?+
Yes. For use inside your shop you can set your own codes as long as they're unique. Code 128 is recommended because it allows letters, e.g. TS-RED-M.
Do I need barcode numbers from GS1?+
Not for use in your own shop. But if you sell into department stores or large retailers, they usually require EAN-13 numbers registered with GS1 Thailand.
I entered 12 digits. Where does the 13th come from?+
The 13th digit is the check digit, calculated from the first 12. Enter 12 digits and the tool calculates it for you; enter 13 and it checks whether the last digit is correct.
