How to use the inventory file

Add your products
On the products sheet, enter code, name, cost, selling price, reorder point and opening stock.

Log every movement
Stock coming in or going out: add one row on the stock in/out sheet.

Check stock and status
Stock on hand, value and status update themselves: yellow = low stock, red = out of stock.

Reorder before you run out
The summary sheet shows how many items need restocking.

Is this inventory file really free?+
Yes. Download it right away, no sign-up and no email needed. Edit it and use it in your shop however you like.
Can I open it in Google Sheets?+
Yes. Upload the file to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets. The formulas and dropdown menus work just like in Excel.
Why doesn't stock on hand change?+
Check that the product code on the stock in/out sheet matches the products sheet exactly, character for character, and that the type column is set to stock in or stock out from the menu.
Selling on many channels, do I have to deduct stock by hand every time?+
In the Excel file, yes, every movement has to be logged by hand. If you sell on so many channels that you can't keep up, AooCommerce deducts one central stock automatically whenever an order comes in from Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop or your store.
